Noriko Baba, MA, MSc(A), BFA, is a clinician and trainer with over a decade of experience in diverse settings. She brings both depth and practicality to her teachings, equipping professionals with tools to address complex therapeutic challenges. Holding master’s degrees in Art Therapy from Concordia University and Couple and Family Therapy from McGill University, along with extensive training in IFS (Level 2), Somatic IFS, and other modalities, she integrates a rich academic background with real-world expertise. Noriko’s training programs focus on integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles with creativity and somatic approaches. She emphasizes working with developmental, relational, intergenerational, and racial trauma, supporting ancestral healing, and addressing issues tied to multicultural and multiracial identities. Her teachings also cover strategies for helping clients navigate attachment wounds, creative blocks, and feelings of shame. Known for her culturally attuned and inclusive approach, Noriko tailors her training to empower practitioners to better serve diverse populations—including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrants, refugees, and neurodivergent clients. Based in Montréal, Québec, she continues to support marginalized communities through her practice and internationally recognized workshops, fostering cultural humility and equity in mental health practices.
