Description

As a clinician, one of your biggest challenges is knowing how and when to address trauma when your client is actively using.

You fear that talking about trauma will exacerbate symptoms and lead to increased substance abuse, and potentially lead to your client quitting therapy altogether.

The last thing you want to do is make your client feel worse, right?

It’s a complex journey to healing and one that’s not linear, where setbacks are a part of the process.

That’s why Hayden D. Center, Jr., PhD, LPC, has created this certification course! He’ll give you step-by-step guidance for assessing your client’s past trauma, how that impacts brain development and makes substance use disorder more likely, and how to choose the right interventions.

You’ll get:

  • Screening tools for trauma, PTSD, and substance use disorders
  • Techniques for using Trauma-Focused CBT, CPT, EMDR, MI and more
  • The latest research into how drugs are processed in the brain and body
  • Resources for the development and modification of treatment plans

Purchase today to get the training you need to handle resistance, unpredictable triggers, traumatic memories, relapse, family dynamics and more!

CERTIFICATION MADE SIMPLE!

  • No hidden fees – PESI pays for your application fee (a $249.99 value)!
  • Simply complete this training and the post-event evaluation included in this training, and your application to be Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) through Evergreen Certifications is complete.*

Attendees will receive documentation of CCTP designation from Evergreen Certifications 4 to 6 weeks following completion.
