Are your TGNB clients educating YOU about their challenges and clinical concerns? With TGNB concerns changing and developing so rapidly, it’s not surprising.
And you might be using outdated treatment strategies that lack perspective which can cause serious harm.
Even if you don’t specialize in working with this population, it’s only a matter of time before you will need to. As more of the TGNB population begins seeking care in the general practice setting due to the increase in need.
As a clinician and mother of a trans son, I have devoted 12 years researching and developing affirming care for the TGNB population. Join me as I guide you through the best practices and teach you step-by-step how to support your client as they navigate their unique challenges and sensitive needs, including coming out, discrimination, hormones, comorbidities, assessment, and helping parents, kids, and adults through life transitions.
Together we will work through case studies and small group activities to support your learning. You’ll learn:
Begin your journey now to start providing a safe place for all your clients to receive the care they deserve so they can genuinely be themselves and live their most authentic lives.
I look forward to seeing you there!
Susan Radzilowski, LMSW-C
