Working with trauma means you're going to encounter attachment and developmental wounds.

And the tell-tale signs — difficulty trusting, fear of abandonment, trouble regulating emotions, and persistent feelings of loneliness

— are just the beginning!

While attachment-based trauma issues may appear similar to other types of trauma, if you try to approach treatment in the same way, you're going to quickly hit a dead-end that can leave you and your client feeling frustrated and hopeless.

That's because traditional treatment approaches don't effectively take into account the damage that's done when a young child's survival is dependent on the very person who's abusing them.

To truly help clients overcome attachment and developmental trauma, you need the skills that work with the body to provide deep and lasting healing.

Now, in this all-new Master Class, you can equip yourself with the most powerful somatic interventions to help your clients overcome the catastrophic consequences of early abuse, neglect, ruptured attachment, transgenerational trauma, and more.

Join Abi Blakeslee for five never-before-seen sessions as she shows you, moment-by-moment, exactly how you can:

  • Quickly identify the signs of attachment wounds
  • Accurately determine what is needed to create deep mind-body healing
  • Effectively use body-based interventions to release trauma from the body

…so you can walk away feeling fully prepared to use Somatic techniques to offer your clients breakthrough results, even in the very first session.

— Peter Levine, developer of Somatic Experiencing®

Whether you're new to Somatic therapy or a seasoned professional, you'll discover and refine powerful skills for healing attachment trauma!

Join Abi in session with real clients living with the consequences of attachment and developmental trauma. You'll learn:

  • How to quickly establish safety, trust, and connection with even the most vulnerable clients
  • How to interpret even the most subtle body movements, gestures, and physiology to identify your client's challenges and needs
  • How to help your clients identify trauma-based behaviors that no longer serve them and help them develop new, adaptive choices
  • How to help your clients release the trauma stored in their body, leading to rapid symptom reduction and improved clinical outcomes
  • And more!

In each session, you'll get a front row seat to clinician-to-clinician analysis between Abi and Psychotherapy Networker's Clinical Director and fellow clinician, Anna Lock, as they discuss each session and break down the insights and techniques that lead to rapid change…

…so you can learn the exact process to quickly implement Somatic techniques into your own work.

As part of this course, you'll also get instant access to Abi Blakeslee's latest Networker's Symposium workshop recording where she teaches her embodied approach to healing developmental trauma and demonstrates even more interventions for facilitating deep healing.

Embodied Healing for Developmental Trauma
Embodied Healing for Developmental Trauma: Harnessing Implicit Memory for Long-Lasting Repair

It can be easy to focus on the words a client uses, but some of the most important information they reveal is through their physiology, posture, and movement. Our early life is encoded in the elusive dimension of implicit memory. Thus, a primary way to repair developmental trauma is to work directly with the nonconscious memory systems where patterns of relationship to self, others, and environment originate. You can do this by tapping into the “language” of the body. In this highly experiential workshop, hands-on exercises to engage in developmental repair with clients suffering from attachment wounds, emotional abuse, and neglect will be explored. You’ll discover:

  • Experiential and easy-to-use exercises to foster developmental repair with clients
  • Embodied movement techniques to help clients initiate action, foster agency and follow-through, and expand their capacity to receive
  • How to help clients more fully embody their emotions and learn to communicate authentically
